Een compacte robot van 11 kg met een draagvermogen tot 3 kg. De toevoeging van een krachtsensor maakt het mogelijk voor de robot om taken op een consistente manier uit te voeren. Daarnaast zorgt deze sensor ervoor dat de robot stopt als er iets in zijn route wordt aangetroffen.<\/p>\n<p>De robot is daarom uitermate geschikt om naast medewerkers te staan. De robot kan bijvoorbeeld helpen bij lichte assemblagewerkzaamheden en andere activiteiten rondom een werkbank. Een assistent die kan helpen bij montage-, polijst-, lijm- en schroefwerkzaamheden.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tDe robots van Universal Robots.\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Universal Robots is in 2009 begonnen met de introductie van cobots en heeft nu drie varianten op de markt gebracht: de UR3, UR5 en UR10. Deze cobots kenmerken zich door hun flexibiliteit, lichte gewicht en gebruiksvriendelijkheid en hebben 6 afzonderlijke gewrichten. Ze zijn perfect voor middelgrote bedrijven die behoefte hebben aan flexibele, effectieve automatisering met een snel rendement op investering. Dankzij hun lichte gewicht zijn ze gemakkelijk te verplaatsen en hebben ze geen robuuste ondergrond nodig.<\/p>\n\t<p>De robots worden geleverd met attributen die het mogelijk maken om ze te programmeren, zoals een controllerbox, een touchscreen en software. De grafische interface maakt het programmeren voor iedereen gemakkelijk en toegankelijk. Bovendien kunnen ze volgens de geldende regels operationeel zijn zonder afscherming en kunnen ze in een gedeelde werkruimte met medewerkers worden
