Met andere woorden, een grote verscheidenheid aan producten in kleine hoeveelheden. Dit type productieproces is moeilijk te automatiseren omdat het productieproces vaak verandert. Collaboratieve robots hebben hierin verandering gebracht omdat ze gemakkelijk om te bouwen zijn en nieuwe bewerkingen kunnen leren.<\/p>\n<h2>\n\t\tCollaboratieve robots in de kunststofindustrie\n\t<\/h2>\n\t<p>Binnen de kunststofindustrie is spuitgieten een van de meest voorkomende taken waarbij een cobot kan helpen. Een cobot kan bijvoorbeeld worden gebruikt om de spuitgietmachine te lossen. Hij kan ook worden gebruikt om matrijsonderdelen te vervangen of voor de nabewerking van producten, zoals polijsten of coaten. Verderop in het productieproces kan een cobot ook van waarde zijn.
