OnRobot’s new Soft Gripper is available with three interchangeable silicone cups to handle a wide range of irregular shapes and delicate items making it ideal for pick-and-place applications in the food and beverage industry as well as other „clean“ manufacturing applications such as cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, manufacturing and packaging. The Soft Gripper is equipped with OnRobot’s revolutionary Quick Changer, a basic unit and silicone cups in star or finger versions for greater flexibility. The Soft Gripper’s silicone cups are dishwasher-safe and conform to FDA 21 CFR (non-greasy foods) and EC 1935/2004 for use in the food industry. The maximum load-bearing capacity of 2.2 kg depends on the shape, softness and friction of the items to be handled, the gripper dimensions range from 11 mm to 118 mm, depending on the cap used.
