Description
The UR5e is the most widely used arm in the Universal Robots e-Series. It handles 5 kg at an 850 mm reach, has an integrated force/torque sensor at the flange and a repeatability of ±0.03 mm. The arm weighs 20.6 kg including cable and is rated IP54.
It fits a wide range of applications because of its balance between payload and reach, and it can be mounted in any orientation. Programming is done with PolyScope, and a large range of UR+ grippers, vision systems and software packages can be added. Typical tasks include machine tending, packaging, screwdriving, assembly and inspection.
