Description

The OnRobot Pallet Station is a mechanical guide for pallets in a palletizing application. It gives the robot a fixed, repeatable pallet position: the operator places a pallet against the guides without measuring its position for every new load. An integrated sensor detects when the pallet is in place and gives a digital ‘pallet present’ signal, and an indication lamp shows the status of that signal.

The Pallet Station is normally integrated with the Lift100 and OnRobot’s palletizing application software, with either one or two Pallet Stations. This article is one Pallet Station, so a cell with two pallet positions uses two. The unit can be assembled mechanically for a right-hand or left-hand setup, depending on the application, and its sturdy design can withstand hits from forklifts or trucks.

It supports pallet sizes from 600 x 800 mm up to 1,250 x 1,250 mm, including EUR 1 and EUR 6, UK, Asia, Australia and North America formats and compatible custom pallets, within the limits set by robot reach, mounting height, box size and tool size. The sensor runs on 24 V, the sensor activation zone is 6 mm and the unit is rated IP54.
