OnRobot 3FG25

The OnRobot 3FG25 is a heavy-duty electric three-finger gripper for large, heavy round workpieces. Three synchronized fingers centre the part as they close, giving stable contact and accurate placement in machine chucks.

Payload is up to 15 kg force-fit with the normal grip (10 kg with the flexible grip) and up to 25 kg form-fit. The normal grip is used when the diameter is known and provides 50 to 450 N; the flexible grip handles unknown or varying diameters with up to 300 N. External grip diameters range from 18 to 155 mm and internal diameters from 41 to 184 mm, depending on finger position and fingertips. A brake holds the applied force without power consumption and keeps the workpiece held if power is lost.

The gripper is rated IP67, so it can be used around coolant and chips. It weighs 1.6 kg and runs on 20 to 25 V DC. The supplied fingertips are 13 mm steel, 13 mm knurled and 16.5 mm NBR, and custom fingers and fingertips can be made to the datasheet dimensions.
