OnRobot Dual Mounting Kit

The OnRobot Dual Mounting Kit lets you mount two tools on one robot with two independent Quick Changer robot sides. Unlike the fixed Dual Quick Changer, each tool can be positioned and oriented to suit the workpiece, the machine access and the robot path.

According to the datasheet the kit consists of two Quick Changer robot sides (A and B) and a splitter. It supports a combined payload of up to 25 kg and a maximum permissible torque of 40 Nm. Each interface keeps the Quick Changer locking concept: tools can be changed by hand in under five seconds, with a repeatability of ±0.02 mm. The interface is IP67 rated. OnRobot also lists improved cable routing around the robot wrist as a benefit of this setup.

With two tools on the robot, a finished part can be removed and the next part loaded in the same cycle. The kit is the mounting interface for two compatible OnRobot tools; the tools themselves are separate. Check your tool combination and payload with us before ordering.
