OnRobot Soft Gripper tool SG-b-H

The SG-b-H is a silicone gripping tool for the OnRobot Soft Gripper. It is an accessory and works only with the Soft Gripper base part (item 103546, sold separately); without the base part it cannot grip. The SG-b-H is the finger-shaped tool with a wide grip range of 24 to 118 mm, with a typical dimension of 79 mm, so it suits larger items than the SG-a tools.

OnRobot gives a payload of up to 1.1 kg for the SG-b-H, measured with a 30 mm ABS cylinder in horizontal orientation. The real value depends on the shape, softness and friction of the item. The grip depth is up to 40 mm. The tool weighs 0.172 kg including its smart-lock, measures 77 mm by 109 mm in diameter and supports up to 32 grips per minute. The tool attaches to the base part with a quick-lock and smart-lock mechanism and can be exchanged. It is made of two-component silicone rubber that complies with FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 (tested for non-fatty foods) and EC 1935/2004, is rated for 2,000,000 operation cycles and is dishwasher-safe. Sharp edges on a workpiece can damage the silicone. Choose the SG-a-H or SG-a-S for smaller items or for higher payload.
